Groat's in, Perkins serves up baloney to Forbes

This, while City Councilman Robbie Perkins calls a recent Forbes article calling Greensboro an "empty city": baloney.

Greensboro/High Point apparently is now the fourth-emptiest city based on vacancy rates collected from the U.S. Census Bureau for the fourth quarter of 2008 (see Forbes article here).

The image “http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:g3xCUqnWD8tmMM:http://www.greensboro-nc.gov/NR/rdonlyres/12FA4F54-3B8E-4B1E-BF38-279B65A64A3F/0/RobbiePerkins200885px.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. City Council member Robbie Perkins tells the News & Record, "I think we need to say that they're full of baloney."

That's real professional, Robbie.

Quite easy to discount an article when it possibly...possibly...may be factual.

From the comments posted under the N&R article, many seem to agree.

E.C. :)

I think the whole point of the article you cite was to somewhat rebut the forbes ranking. Hence, Professor Debbage's commentary about looking at more than 4th quarter data.
